Initially, we analyzed the traffic on the old web. We looked at which subpages were important, which could be merged and finally which were no longer necessary. In the design of the sitemap, the level of complexity was mainly how it could be reduced in format. Many subpages were obsolete but still with some traffic. The result is a simpler sitemap that can grow over time.

In 2019, we worked closely with the Men&Mice teams to create a brand new website. The decision was made to go for a rebrand in collaboration with the design company Kontor. Subsequently, a new and better website was launched. VISKA was responsible for web design and development, as well as advising the Men&Mice team.

Preperation
How to present a complex software product
Men & Mice's software is complicated for most people, with words like DHCP and IP address management it is no wonder that many people do not understand what is being communicated. It was important to convey to both tech-savvy and external executives what problems Micetro, Men&Mice's software, was solving. It was decided to use visuals from within the software, divide the product into 'properties' and display them clearly along with their advantages.

Responsiveness
Majority in larger screen sizes
Unlike most of the websites we have worked on, in the majority of cases the web traffic was in larger screen sizes. Emphasis was placed on the user experience in larger screens, but also by smartphones, as this share is growing.
